Popular American movie star, Julia Roberts has been blamed by her half-sister as the reason she took her own life. This detail was revealed through a note the deceased left behind.Gone too soon: Nancy Motes, pictured in Santa Monica in August (left) died on Sunday from an apparent drug overdose; she is the half-sister of Julia Roberts (right)
Nancy Motes, who was found dead in a bathtub just after 2pm by her fiance John Dilbeck in Los Angeles on Sunday, is said to have cited her strained relationship with the Pretty Woman star for her emotional state.
Motes and Roberts – who share the same mother, Betty Lou, but have different fathers - had a falling out last summer after Motes gave a tell-all interview accusing the Oscar winner of blocking access to their sick mother.
Just weeks before her death, the 37-year-old launched a bitter online rant about her famous sister, slamming her as a ‘b****’ who could not act.
‘So my ‘sister’ said that with all her friends & fans she doesn’t need any more love. Just so you all know ‘America’s Sweetheart’ is a B—-!!’ she tweeted, referring to Roberts’ star turn in the 2001 rom-com America’s Sweethearts. More after the cut.......

‘Do you want to be a fan of someone so cruel? She’s not even that good of an actress. Happy you totally F***ed with me?’ adding, ‘(M)y own family has abandoned me.’
In August, Motes gave an interview claiming Roberts, 46, criticised her appearance as a teen.
‘When I was in high school and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight,’ Motes revealed.

‘It just makes me feel incredibly hurt and very sad.’
An autopsy was completed as of Tuesday morning, but the cause of death was deferred pending additional toxicology tests, coroner spokesman Ed Winter said.
