Kudos to our own Chiwetel Ejiofor

The 2014 Oscar nominees list has just been released. It is notable that African actors are really shining this year.

British actor of Nigerian origin Chiwetel Ejiofor got a Best Actor nomination for his role in ‘12 Years a Slave’, while Kenyan beauty Lupita Nyong'o got a Best Supporting Actress nomination for same movie.

Somalian Barkhad Abdi got Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role as the main villain in ‘Captain Phillips’.
